Commentary: If you need a tire to handle the winter, but don't want to empty your pockets on your tires, these tires work amazing in sever weather for an affordable price. They also have amazing tread life with a 50,000 Mile Treadwear Warranty.

  3. Durability off Road - Good All Terrain Tires, but not ideal for intense off road - 7
  4. Handling - Great Traction - 6 (vehicles with oversized/offroad tires are not meant for sharp turns and as an affect, lowers overall handling score)
  5. Rain - Stays on road at high speeds in rain - 7 (all drivers should drive responsibly in rain)
  6. Snow/Ice - Holds with good traction - 6
  7. Road Noise - One of the quietest A/T Tires on the market - 6
  8. Price - $128.95 - $408.95, (32.5"-40") Probably best value for a high performing A/T - 8
  • Total = 56 (note that total is out of 80, however no single tire comes close to a perfect score, because no tire can simply have it all)
Commentary: If you are looking to beef up your vehicles look without emptying your wallet, this is your tire. The Nitto Terra Grappler is probably the best All Terrain Tire on the market for its price. While it may be cheaper than others, it still does its job in working as a great A/T Tire, however the aggressive looks are a sacrificed just a bit. Overall: Great Bang for the Buck!

  2. Durability on Road- Most users get at least 40,000 mi. - 9
  3. Durability off Road - Great tire for all offroad terrains- 8
  4. Handling - Great Traction - 6 (vehicles with oversized/offroad tires are not meant for sharp turns and as an affect, lowers overall handling score)
  5. Rain - Excellent traction on wet roads - 8 (all drivers should drive responsibly in rain)
  6. Snow/Ice - One of the better tires for snow handling - 7
  7. Road Noise - Noticeable on freeways, not bad compared to mud tires - 5
  8. Price - $110- $545, (28"-37.5") Price always reflects quality - 7
  • Total = 58 (note that total is out of 80, however no single tire comes close to a perfect score, because no tire can simply have it all)
These are reviewed as one of the best all around All Terrain Tires on the market. They have an aggressive appearance, can handle to trails, and not have insane amounts of road noise.

These are the which I currently have on my Ford F150. When I was shopping for tires, I researched almost every All Terrain Tire and decided upon this one. I absolutely love it. I will try to keep my ratings as unbiased as possible. Below I will give a score on a scale of 1-10 upon how other users and I rate the tires.


  1. Appearance: Most aggressive looking A/T on the market - 9
  2. Durability on Road- Almost 7K miles and no show of wear -9
  3. Durability off Road - Handles well in mud for A/T and good on rocky terrain - 8
  4. Handling - Great Traction - 6 (vehicles with oversized/offroad tires are not meant for sharp turns and as an affect, lowers overall handling score)
  5. Rain - Stays on road at high speeds in rain - 8 (all drivers should drive responsibly in rain)
  6. Snow/Ice - Holds with good traction - 7
  7. Road Noise - Noticeable on freeways, not bad compared to mud tires - 4
  8. Price - $220 - $587, (32.5"-40") Price always reflects quality - 7
  • Total = 58 (note that total is out of 80, however no single tire comes close to a perfect score, because no tire can simply have it all)
Commentary: If you are looking for an aggressive looking all terrain tire, this is definitely your tire. The Xtreme A/T is probably looks the most like a mud tire too out of all A/T tires and has the best off road capabilities in its class. Pro Comp offers a 40,000 Mile Treadwear Warranty.

What is this blog about

Welcome!

As many of you know, shopping for tires can sometimes become very confusing as well as expensive. The majority of us drive cars, and cars can't fun if they don't have tires! The question is what type of tire should I put on my car and still be able to afford my car!

I will post new articles varying from tire types, such as mud terrain tires all the way to racing tires. To add, I will review different tire brands and give suggestions as to what best suits your vehicle and monetary situation.
